OUR STORY

Based in Lethbridge, AB, Elegance Upholstery's story is one of ever-evolving craftsmanship, rooted in a passion for restoration.

 

Our founder, Stephen, began his journey after university with a love for music and woodworking, which led to the intricate restoration of pianos. Observing a growing "throwaway culture," Stephen was inspired to specialize in traditional craftsmanship.

 

After being mentored by one of Calgary's top upholsterers, he worked as an RV technician and began restoring furniture, automotive finishing, and marine upholstery. This demanding work honed a keen eye for detail and provided the opportunity to master upholstery and launch Elegance Upholstery. The name of the business embodied his passion: reforging a throwaway into something elegant.

 

Elegance Upholstery is committed to providing Southern Alberta and the Lethbridge area with exceptional upholstery services, where every piece is treated with the care and expertise it deserves.
